Privacy
Last updated 24 October 2026LiveRehearsal is a practice simulator. It is built so that your camera, your voice and your practice sessions stay with you.
Camera and recordings
Your camera feed is shown and recorded only on your own device. Recordings are kept in your browser's memory for that session so you can rewatch them, and are never uploaded to us. Face detection (used to notice when someone joins you) runs on-device.
Microphone and "React to my voice"
The live coach measures how loud the room is on your device to notice silence; no audio is sent anywhere for this. If you switch on "React to my voice", your browser's built-in speech recognition turns your words into text so the simulated audience can respond. In Chrome and some Android browsers, that speech service is run by Google and your audio is processed under Google's terms. You can practise with it switched off.
Settings
Your preferences (platform, audience size, scenario and so on) are saved in your browser's local storage on your device.
Optional AI comments
If you add your own AI endpoint in "Smarter AI comments", the app sends your stream topic, a short recent transcript and the names you've said to that endpoint so it can write comments. That data goes to the provider you chose, not to us.
Payments
Subscriptions are processed by Stripe. We never see your full card number. We store your subscription reference so the app can check your plan; your license key on your device holds that reference in signed form. Stripe's privacy policy applies to the checkout.
